Choosing the Right Garage Door for Your Home
A new garage door is one of the few home upgrades that pays off in security, energy efficiency, and curb appeal all at once. We'll walk you through C.H.I.'s full residential lineup — steel, wood composite, and insulated options in a range of styles and colors — and help you match a door to your home instead of just picking from a brochure. If your current door still has life left but isn't performing the way it should, our team also handles garage door repair, so replacement is never the only option we offer.
Garage Door Openers & Smart Features
A new door is only half the equation. As an authorized LiftMaster dealer, we pair every installation with the right opener for how you actually use your garage — from a straightforward chain-drive unit to a quiet belt-drive opener with smartphone control, camera, and battery backup. See our garage door opener installation page for the full opener lineup, or ask us to bundle a new opener with your door installation for one coordinated project and one warranty.

Pricing depends mainly on door width, material, and whether a new opener is part of the job — a single-car steel door costs less than a double-wide or an insulated/wood door, and adding a new opener is a separate line item. [Insert typical price range if you want to publish one.] We give a firm, itemized quote before any work starts, so contact us with your door size and we'll get you a real number.
How long does new garage door installation take?
A standard residential garage door replacement is typically a same-day job, usually completed in a few hours once the crew is on site.
How does weather affect garage door installation?
Colorado's swings between sun, snow, and hard freezes can affect both the installation process and the door itself. Extreme cold can make certain seals and weatherstripping stiffer to work with, and we may reschedule installation during active snow or ice for safety. Once installed, insulated doors hold up better against temperature swings and help regulate the garage's interior temperature through winter.
Where can I buy residential garage doors?
You don't need to source a door separately — we supply and install the door as part of the job. As a CHI Elite Dealer, we carry CHI's residential door lines and will help you choose the right material, style, and insulation level for your home and budget.
